Cookie policy
Last updated: 31 August 2026
This page explains which cookies and similar technologies (browser local storage, advertising pixels) run on dayveo.com and in the web version of the app at app.dayveo.com, what they are for, and how to change your choice. It complements the Privacy policy.
What these are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser to remember you between pages and visits. Alongside them, browser local storage does much the same thing, except its contents are not sent to the server automatically. An advertising pixel is a piece of code that tells an advertising platform that something happened on the site — a page view, a registration, a payment.
Categories
- Necessary. They keep you signed in, remember your theme and text size, and store your choice in the consent banner. The service does not work without them, so they do not require consent.
- Analytics. They show anonymised statistics about site usage. We do not use any such files at the moment — if we add them, they will appear in the table below and will require consent.
- Marketing. They let us measure the performance of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and show Dayveo ads to people who may find them relevant. They are enabled only with consent.

Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. | Stores the ad click reference so an action on the site can be linked to a specific ad | 90 days |
Meta cookies appear only after you press “Accept all” in the banner. Before that the advertising pixel does not load at all. This list may change — the current version is always on this page.
Advertising on Facebook and Instagram
We use the Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. It sends Meta anonymised events from our website (page view, start of registration, subscription checkout) together with the IP address, browser data and the cookie identifiers listed above. We use this to count advertising results, to avoid showing ads to people who already signed up, and to build audiences similar to our users. Meta processes this data as an independent controller under its own policy; you can adjust your own ad settings in Meta ad preferences.
What is never shared with advertising platforms: the content of your account — tasks, notes, habits, clients, projects and financial records. Advertising tools run only on marketing pages and on registration and payment events.
How to change your choice
- Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page — the banner comes back and you can change your choice at any time.
- Delete cookies in your browser settings — the banner will appear again on your next visit.
- Declining optional cookies does not limit Dayveo: your account, sync and payments work exactly the same.
The iPhone and Android app
The mobile app does not use cookies. Instead, iOS shows its own tracking permission prompt (“Allow the app to track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites”). If you decline, the device advertising identifier is not used. You can change your decision in “Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking”. See the Privacy policy for details.
